Unfortunately many women train with weights that are too light. Pick a weight that allows you to do between 8-12 reps, but don’t go to complete failure where you can’t do another rep. 5. Try interval training. Have you ever seen a fat sprinter? Probably not. That’s because sprinters train with high intensity. This type of training has been proven to burn fat much faster than steady state cardio training.
It’s all about kicking the intensity of your workout up a notch or two. Here’s a simple workout: On a treadmill after warming up, run at 80 – 90 percent maximum effort for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 – 60 seconds and repeat 8 to 10 times. Do this twice a week and watch the fat melt away.
