That special day in a woman’s life may come sooner or later, but it’s eventually coming; if you’re the one dealing with putting the pieces of the puzzle altogether, you’re facing a real challenge unless you’re not organized enough to deal with it. However, with proper management and info, you should be able to figure everything out and throw the best party ever. Some things never change, but bridal showers aren’t between those, because apparently they’ve evolved from the “girls night” party style into some sort of a family and friends reunion attended by the closest people around the bride and groom. No matter what the approach to this party is, there are certain things you need to take care of when planning it.
The first thing you want to do is make up your mind if you want to go for a themed party. If that’s your take(and it’s a good choice), then you have to plan everything out according to the chosen theme – invitations, costumes, decorations, menu and so on. To name just a few ideas, there could be a spa party, a pool party, a Halloween one, or any other – but whatever it is, make a quick decision about it, since you’re supposed to send out invitations six weeks before the actual party.
When the decision has been made, the next thing to think of is a location – and ask two more friends about it, to see if it’s ok with them. Now that you know the location and date, the invitations could be ordered and sent, since time is short in most of the cases; don’t forget to theme the invitations, so that they already give the tone – if you’re choosing a costumes theme, also specify that. Nowadays, there are many models to choose from, some even contain 3d elements, others have various sizes and shapes – so you have many models to choose from.
As the whole picture becomes clearer and clearer, you’ll have to make the ornaments, like: ribbons, balloons, bride & groom banner, candles and many more(for example home made stuff); don’t forget the supplies(food, drinks, cakes are indispensable ingredients), but whatever you do, have the theme on your mind – everything should go along with it. If you want to add some artistic spice to the party, you should go for wedding shower poems, an excellent touch for any party of this kind.
Now that you have the basics outlined, with a little creativity and a lot of work, you can host the perfect shower and make the bride and guests feel in heaven. Remember, this is just one night, so everything should be just perfect.
