Finding that perfect gift for your special someone on Valentine’s day can be a real chore and sometimes it even seems impossible. The perfect gift has to be special, lavish and just absolutely as perfect as your loved one. Don’t be a dud and pick another boring and disappointing gift. It may be predictable but chocolate is never disappointing and with the choices out there you can even find something not so predictable.

Chocolate with nuts, cherries, different chocolate even bugs you’ll be sure to find a gift she will adore. Chocolate has been known for centuries to be a lavish and indulgent gift. Plus who doesn’t like eating it?

One idea for unique chocolate gifts is to choose a chocolate “bouquet” of roses. These decadent treats are made of rich dark, white, or milk chocolate formed in the shape of a perfect rose. Be sure to make your basket extra special by picking the perfect packaging from an array of hampers, baskets and bowls. Once the chocolate is gone, and missed, she will have the package as a reminder of your sweet surprise and will treasure it always.

Maybe your sweetie appreciates the traditional, luxurious box of chocolates, in the shape of a heart, lined with velvet and filled with nut clusters, caramels, crmes and truffles. Sometimes women have special dietary restrictions or they simply do not want to pack on the pounds during the holidays, leaving you scratching your head and wondering what to do. Not to worry, there are sugar free and low-fat chocolates available! If you are looking for something more unique for your chocolate box, there are also chocolate covered pretzels, nuts and hard candies to choose from.

One of the oft overlooked choices, as sad as that is, is the gift of chocolate covered fruit. You sweetheart will swoon when she sees the lavish and decadent gift you have gotten her of chocolate covered strawberries and other fruits. Strawberries are the first that come to mind but don’t forget the more unusual ones such as apricots or cherries. Plum succulent fruit encased in sweet rich chocolate is mouth watering and undeniably romantic.
